Our devotional obsession with WINNING creates a massive blind spot it seems—the corollary for example of humans WINNING over nature would be climate change & it’s negative impact upon civilization— certainly exhibits a LOSING outcome. Irony!

Daniel cites the “Gap-ification”of America”, and how the clothing store The Gap, being in seemingly every town in the county, symbolizes the bland soullessness of our greed-driven corporate monoculture, with the US’s cultural output being the pursuit of profit at the expense of it’s people.

Gill on living in LA: “You hafta be a hypocrite to survive here—there are so many things that you hafta do to survive that you simply DETEST”
But, he had a lot of fun living there.

Explored is the concept of transrationalism: When phenomena such as telekinesis occurs within the natural universe and does not fit into the logical cause & effect structure perceived thru “channel normal.”
